Welcome to the Odeon Art Deco website. I am Stephen Down and whether you are a collector, in the trade or just curious, I hope you enjoy looking at the range of Art Deco and twentieth Century ceramics and glass I have for sale.

I have a varied background originating in the fine arts when I trained as an artist before moving into furniture making and setting up my own business. I have always been attracted to good design and, like so many people, I was taken with the range and quality of Art Deco ceramics and gradually the hobby began to form into a second business as my interest and collection grew.

Having, more years than I can remember, run a business making and designing specialist furniture (from fitting out churches, hotels or making a simple coffee table) I am also able to offer an additional service to the collector in the form of purpose built display cabinets. I believe that having spent sometimes a lot of money on what is essentially a small work of art, it is crucial to display it in the best possible way. I am able to design and make cabinets to suit not only your decor but also the items you have. The images on my furniture page will give you an idea of what is possible.
